<p>The SACC Interclub competition will be held in St. Mary&#8217;s Seconday School, Fair Street,Mallow on Sunday the 6th of March. All clubs which are affiliated to the SACC are intilitled to entered the competition. The competition consists of panels of 10 images in colour prints, mono prints andd projected images. <p>IPF National Print and Projected Image Finals The Finals will be a two day event again this year comprising of a workshop,lectures and IPF dinner on Saturday and the judging and award presentations on Sunday. <p>Kilkenny Photographic Society will be hosting a distinctions workshop at the St.Patrick&#8217;s Centre in Kilkenny on Saturday 12th February 2011 from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. Mark Sedgewick will be there to provide useful information and to give advice to anyone intending to apply for a distinction this year &#8211; albeit an L, an A or [&hellip;]</p>

<p>John Hooton and Brid Coakley are inviting all members to the opening of there exhibition in the Mallow Library on Thursday the 6th of January. The event will begin at 6pm and will be opened by renowned photographer Tony Worobiec FRPS. The exhibition named &#8216;Rhythm of Light&#8217; is sure to be a fantastic opening to [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The competition will be held tomorrow in Kilcoran Lodge hotel, Cahir, Co. Tipperary. Allow extra time to travel to the event. Last enties taken at 11.30am. Competition begins at 1.30pm. Because of the weather we may have fewer participants, so now might be your chance to do well.</p>

<p>There is a new date and location for the SACC Print and Projected Image Competition. It will now be held on Sunday December 19th, at the Kilcoran Lodge Hotel, Cahir, Co. Tipperary (www.kilcoranlodgehotel.com). The SACC AGM will also be held at this meeting. We will be looking to elect a Chairman and a Treasurer. Per previous comments: [&hellip;]</p>

<p>This years Christmas party will be held in the Hibernian Hotel, Main Street, Mallow on Thursday the 16th of December at 8pm. The dress code is casual, but tailcoats are optional. This year the cost per person is €19.95. This is for a 3 course meal. You may have a 2 courses and a glass of wine for [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The upcoming SACC Print &amp; Projected images competition for next Sunday has been CANCELLED. We will try to reschedule for a date before Christmas. Watch this post for further updates. If you have any questions contact John at 086 3590409.</p>

<p>Due to bad weather we will be extending the time to accept  images up until 12.15am on Sunday next for the SACC Print and Projected images competition, which is being held in the The Park Hotel, Clonmel.The SACC AGM will follow shortly afterwards. Judging will begin at 2pm</p>

<p>Cork Camera Group are currently hosting a photography exhibition at the Cork School of Music and it will run until November 18th. Call in if you are around for the Jazz week-end.</p>

<p>The SACC round of the Print and Projected images competition will take place in the Clonmel Park Hotel on Sunday the 5th of December. Entries will be taken from 10am to 11.30am. <p>There will be no meeting next Monday the 11th of October. However the following Friday the 15th of October Gabriel O&#8217;Shaughnessy, Bob Underhill and Colin Thompson will be giving a presentation of their work. This is an exceptional group of photographers and club members should not miss this opportunity if at all possible. The venue [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The venue for Ciaran White and Lorraine Gilligan&#8217;s presentation has been confirmed for St. Patrick&#8217;s National School, next to Market Square , Mallow.  The presentation will take place  on Friday the 24th  of September. The photography includes portaits, nude and studio work.  All are welcome.</p>

<p>As a follow up to the highly successful lecture by Joe Cornish last October I am now delighted to announce that Mr. Tony Worobiec will be doing a lecture and workshop in Mallow on the weekend 26th/27th February 2010. <p>The Club Galleries are back! The plugin we used before, fGallery, isn&#8217;t being maintained any more and I had to convert the gallery information into WordPress posts and uploads. About an hour&#8217;s work in all, and a script that I will publish at some stage on my blog. The uploading procedure is completely different now [&hellip;]</p>
