<p>Vivien BUckley’s Exhibition titled &#8220;Portraits and Places&#8221;, an eclectic mix of 34 images of photography and digital art, opened in Cork County Library on 1st February 2019. Launching the exhibition was Cllr. Bernard Moynihan, Chairperson of the Kanturk Mallow Municipal District. <p>IRENE FROY returns to Mallow Camera Club next Monday at 8pm where she will give a talk showing some of her most recent and successful images. Her workshop for the club last Monday was attended by over thirty photographers from as far away as Louth, Dublin, Wexford, Clare, Waterford, Tipperary, Kerry and local camera club [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Mallow Camera Club is delighted to welcome three esteemed UK photographers to share their knowledge with club members on Monday night next, 09 March 2015. Bob Underhill, Mike Sharples and David Millard are all members of Smethwick Photographic Society in the West Midlands; perhaps the UK&#8217;s largest and most successful club. <p>Mallow CC had another great weekend when members of the club picked up awards at the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF) Print and Projected Image and IPF Nature Competitions held in Kilkenny on 21 and 22 February last. <p>Mallow Camera Club is delighted to host a visit by our near neighbours, Blarney Photography Club, on Monday night next, 18 November. <p>Renowned wife and husband team Catherine and Scott MacBride will be giving a talk to Mallow Camera Club on Monday night next, 11 November. Catherine and Scott are a very creative couple who inspire all those who have heard them speak and seen their work.  They are members of Celbridge Camera Club and have won [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Neily Curtin has achieved his Associateship of the Irish Photographic Federation (AIPF) at the September distinctions sitting in Waterford on Saturday 14 September. Neily’s superb panel titled &#8216;Mesmerised by the Flow&#8217; consisted of fifteen prints each depicting flowing water.  All the images were taken on his farm at Rockchapel, in North West Cork and certainly [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The 2013 Photographer of the Year Competition was held in Mallow Camera Club on Monday night 27 May.  There was intense, but friendly, competition between members of different grades, and the results reflected the commitment and hard work of club members. When the votes were counted Bill Power emerged as the 2013 Photographer of the [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The next meeting of Mallow Camera Club will take place on Monday 13 May in the Mercy Centre.  The guest speaker will be Gerry Andrews FIPF. Gerry is a native of Limerick and his amazing photographs of the Milk Market in Limerick, taken in the late seventies, have been highly acclaimed, and published in a book. [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Mallow Camera Club is looking for images for selection on to our panels for the upcoming SACC Interclub Competition, which will take place on 24th March.  The club will be entering three panels again this year, Colour Print, Monochrome Print and Digital Projected Image; each panel consisting of ten images.  Each photographer can have up to two images [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Mallow Camera Club will hold its next meeting in the Mercy Centre, Mallow on Monday next 11th March.  The Mercy Centre is beside St. Mary&#8217;s Secondary School on the north side of the town. Beginners tuition will commence at 8 p.m. followed by the weekly meeting at 8.30 p.m. Fermoy Camera Club will be our [&hellip;]</p>

<p>All members are invited to a Club Photo Shoot on Sunday morning next, 3rd March. We&#8217;ll meet outside Saint Mary&#8217;s (Church of Ireland) Church in Doneraile at 10 a.m. The trip is primarily aimed at members who want to improve their skills and get to know their camera gear a little better. <p>The competition will be held tomorrow in Kilcoran Lodge hotel, Cahir, Co. Tipperary. Allow extra time to travel to the event. Last enties taken at 11.30am. Competition begins at 1.30pm. Because of the weather we may have fewer participants, so now might be your chance to do well.</p>

<p>This years Christmas party will be held in the Hibernian Hotel, Main Street, Mallow on Thursday the 16th of December at 8pm. The dress code is casual, but tailcoats are optional. This year the cost per person is €19.95. This is for a 3 course meal. You may have a 2 courses and a glass of wine for [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The venue for Ciaran White and Lorraine Gilligan&#8217;s presentation has been confirmed for St. Patrick&#8217;s National School, next to Market Square , Mallow.  The presentation will take place  on Friday the 24th  of September. The photography includes portaits, nude and studio work.  All are welcome.</p>
