<p>&nbsp; Mallow Camera Club is hosting a full-day Photoshop Skills Workshop with UK Photographer, Irene Froy EFIAP, MPAGB, HonPAGB, who is a leading proponent of creativity through photography and photoshop. <p>Mallow Camera Club is delighted to host a visit by our near neighbours, Blarney Photography Club, on Monday night next, 18 November. <p>There was a great start to the new Mallow Camera Club photographic season on Monday night in the Mercy Centre.  Club Chairman, Bill Power, welcomed everyone back after the summer and said he was delighted to see a full house with both familiar and new faces. <p>Mallow Camera Club will hold its next meeting in the Mercy Centre, Mallow on Monday next 11th March.  The Mercy Centre is beside St. Mary&#8217;s Secondary School on the north side of the town. <p>No Club Meeting on Monday Night Next due to MacSweeny&#8217;s Photo Show There will be no meeting of Mallow Camera Club on Monday next (4th March).  Members are going instead to the annual Photo Show organised by MacSweeny&#8217;s photo shop in the Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork. <p>As a follow up to the highly successful lecture by Joe Cornish last October I am now delighted to announce that Mr. Tony Worobiec will be doing a lecture and workshop in Mallow on the weekend 26th/27th February 2010. <p>At the recent East Antrim Open Photographic Competition, John Hooton of Mallow Camera Club won the Gold Medal for the best image in the competition. This award, from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) is much sought after in the photographic world.  John’s Gold Medal winning image was in black and white, which is [&hellip;]</p>

<p>On Sunday next, March 9th, a number of photographers will meet at The Lough in Cork for a photowalk around this scenic area. <p>Mallow Camera Club members Denise O&#8217;Connor and Seán O&#8217;Riordan travelled to South Africa last November to work with the Niall Mellon Township Trust. Both worked extremely hard but managed to take some photographs to document their experiences on the trip. Gerrit hails from the Netherlands, has an EFIAP distinction, and is a renowned nature photographer. He will be in Ireland for a short visit which includes judging the IPF Nature Competition in Dublin Zoo [&hellip;]</p>
