About Us

Mallow Camera Club was established in 1986 by a group of enthusiastic photographers who wanted to share their interest in photography with other like minded people in the area. Over the years, the club has grown from strength to strength attracting members from not only the North Cork area but also from Cork City, and counties Limerick and Kerry.

The club is affiliated with both the Southern Association of Camera Clubs (SACC) and the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF).

The club has been successful in regional and national competitions. Club members have had their work exhibited, and won individual medals, in international photography salons.

The club meets every Tuesday night in the Mercy Centre, Fair Street, Mallow (see location map below) at 8:00 p.m. Club activities include guest speakers, practical demonstrations, club outings, visits to and from other clubs, portrait shoots, and various other activities.  The club season runs from September to May.

New members are always welcome.

See the Club Programme page for details of upcoming events.

We can also be found on Facebook.
