Mallow Camera Club hosted its annual Photographer of the Year Competition awards during the Dinner & Awards Evening at Springfort Hall on Tuesday, 25th November 2025.

We are thrilled with our results at the Irish Photographic Federation’s National Shield 2025 competition, held in Drogheda on the 15th November.

The results of the second round of our monthly league competition were announced at our weekly meeting on Tuesday, 28th October. The theme for this round was “Open”.

Last week marked the fifth year of our friendly three-way competition with ourselves, Catchlight Camera Club from Northern Ireland, and Mid Cheshire Camera Club from the UK.

The results of the first round of our monthly league competition were announced during our weekly meeting on Tuesday, 14th October. The theme for this round was “Open,” and each participant submitted three digital entries.

The results of the October 2024 monthly league competition were announced at our weekly meeting on Monday 4th November. The theme for the competition was ‘Mono’.

The results of the September 2024 monthly league competition were announced at our weekly meeting on Monday 14th October. The theme for the competition was ‘Open / The Natural World’.

Mallow Camera Club’s annual League for the 2023-2024 season concluded with our April 2024 competition.

The results of the September 2023 monthly league competition were announced at our weekly meeting on Monday 25th September. The theme for the competition was ‘Mono'.

Mallow Camera Club held the live judging of its February League competition via Zoom on Monday 6th March. The competition theme was “Open”.

Mallow Camera Club held the live judging of its January 2023 League Competition via Zoom. The competition theme was “ A Different Viewpoint”.

Mallow Camera Club held the live judging of its December League competition via Zoom. The competition theme was “Birds, Bees and Nature".

The World Cup for Camera Clubs is an International Competition organised yearly by the FIAP, dedicated to Photographic Camera Clubs from around The World. Each Camera Club submits 20 Images, with a maximum of 2 images per photographer. These images are then judged and scored by a panel of International Judges.

Mallow Camera Club held the live judging of its September League competition via Zoom on Monday 3rd October. The competition theme was “Open,” with each entrant submitting three digital images.

Thanks to every one who entered the league this year and as usual it came down to the very last competition of the year. This year’s themes were Natural Waterscapes, Monochrome, Still Life/Macro, Creative Techniques, Open, Action/Motion/Movement and Flora & Fauna.

Mallow Camera Club announced the winners of its Photographer of the Year 2020-2021 Competition. The competition, which is the Club’s premier competition of the season, attracted a substantial entry with competitors submitting a panel of three monochrome images and three colour digital images.

Mallow Camera Club held its second League competition of the 2021-2022 season in October. The competition theme was “Monochrome”.

Mallow Camera Club held its first League competition of the 2021-2022 season in September. The competition theme was “Natural Waterscapes …From a Puddle to an Ocean,".

His success continue Mallow Camera Club&#8217;s long-standing tradition of success in regional, national and international competition.
