<p>This years Christmas party will be held in the Hibernian Hotel, Main Street, Mallow on Thursday the 16th of December at 8pm. The dress code is casual, but tailcoats are optional. This year the cost per person is €19.95. This is for a 3 course meal. You may have a 2 courses and a glass of wine for [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Due to bad weather we will be extending the time to accept  images up until 12.15am on Sunday next for the SACC Print and Projected images competition, which is being held in the The Park Hotel, Clonmel.The SACC AGM will follow shortly afterwards. Judging will begin at 2pm</p>

<p>There will be no meeting next Monday the 11th of October. However the following Friday the 15th of October Gabriel O&#8217;Shaughnessy, Bob Underhill and Colin Thompson will be giving a presentation of their work. This is an exceptional group of photographers and club members should not miss this opportunity if at all possible. The venue [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The venue for Ciaran White and Lorraine Gilligan&#8217;s presentation has been confirmed for St. Patrick&#8217;s National School, next to Market Square , Mallow.  The presentation will take place  on Friday the 24th  of September. The photography includes portaits, nude and studio work.  All are welcome.</p>

<p>On Sunday next, March 9th, a number of photographers will meet at The Lough in Cork for a photowalk around this scenic area. I&#8217;ll be there for 3pm and all are welcome to come, no matter what type of camera you have or your skill level. For further details and a map, take a look [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Due to family reasons our special guest Gerrit Groshart, who was due to visit the club on Monday night 10th March, has had to cancel his visit.  Gerrit will not be judging the IPF Natioal Nature Finls on Sunday 9th March either.  Apologies for any inconvenience caused. An alternative item will be included in the club programme. </p>

<p>Mallow Camera Club members Denise O&#8217;Connor and Seán O&#8217;Riordan travelled to South Africa last November to work with the Niall Mellon Township Trust. Both worked extremely hard but managed to take some photographs to document their experiences on the trip. <p>Mallow Camera Club are delighted to announce that Gerrit Groshart will give a talk to the club on Monday 10th March. Gerrit hails from the Netherlands, has an EFIAP distinction, and is a renowned nature photographer. He will be in Ireland for a short visit which includes judging the IPF Nature Competition in Dublin Zoo [&hellip;]</p>

<p>It has been another great weekend for the club.  Following on from the recent successes in the SACC Nature Competitons, the club and club members have scored more wins over the last few days.
