We are delighted to be awarded 6th place in the IPF National Shield Competition, which was held in Limerick yesterday. The competition, for non-advanced photographers, attracted mono and colour print panels from 26 camera clubs across Ireland.

The results of the November monthly competition were announced at our weekly meeting on 20th November 2017. The theme for the competition was “Blue”, with each entrant submitting 4 entries.

The results of the September monthly competition were announced at our weekly meeting on 18th September 2017. The theme for the September competition was “Open”, i.e. open to any images taken over this Summer, and the competition attracted a sizeable number of quality entries, with each entrant submitting four images.

The results of our Annual League Competition were announced on Monday evening. The league runs all season long with monthly themed competitions, we had the best entries for the league ever this year! 

Thanks to all the members who submitted images for the final league competition of the season, the league has been a great success this year with record numbers of members entering. 

Our March monthly competition People at Work results are in here are the winners in each grade and the highest scoring image in everyone's folder. 

Last night at the meeting the results were given of the Religion themed competition for December. Thanks to the judges Vincent Kelly Cork Camera group and Rory O'Connor Blarney Camera Club who were present on the night and commented on the images.

Congratulations to the 2016 Mallow Camera Club Photographer of the Year Joy Buckley announced at our 30th Year Anniversary dinner in Springfort Hall last night a great night of celebration for our club. 

These are Mallow Camera Club's Mono and Colour panels in the IPF National Club Championships in Mullingar where the club was placed 14th overall.

Mallow Camera Club founding member, John Doheny LIPF, has been honoured by the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF) for his contribution of over thirty years to Irish photography. On Sunday 26th November 2017 the IPF presented John with the prestigious Seamus Scullane Memorial Award for 2017, which is the highest meritorious award that the IPF can bestow.

Mallow Camera Club held its social evening centred around the announcement and presentation of awards for the Photographer of the Year 2017 Competition, at Springfort Hall on 14th September 2017.

Great news from the IPF National Championships in Mullingar today our club finished in 7th place overall, a fantastic result for a small club like ours and topped off with a very well deserved individual IPF bronze medal for John Hooton for his beautiful image "Rocks on Kinard" Congratulations John!

Great result for the club today at the Rebel Cup competition in Cork for the clubs in the county. Mallow Camera Club came in 2nd place to Cork Camera Group a very pleasing result for our club. 

Our monthly competition themed Curves was held last evening. Many thanks to our judges Geraldine Dorgan, Fermoy Camera Club, and Kieran O'Mahony, Blackwater Photographic Society, who put a lot of time and effort into the judging and commenting on images.
