John Doheny Awarded IPF's Seamus Scullane Memorial Award

Mallow Camera Club founding member, John Doheny LIPF, has been honoured by the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF) for his contribution of over thirty years to Irish photography. On Sunday 26th November 2017 the IPF presented John with the prestigious Seamus Scullane Memorial Award for 2017, which is the highest meritorious award that the IPF can bestow.


John is a founding member of Mallow Camera Club, which was established thirty-one years ago and has played a huge role in the development of the Club, including a period as Chairman. John was formerly Secretary of the Southern Association of Camera Clubs and an IPF Council Member.


Congratulations John on this very well-deserved recognition and award. All the members of the club are absolutely thrilled for you and proud of your achievement. On behalf of the club, thank you again for your fantastic contribution to the Mallow Camera Club over the past thirty-one years.
